Strands unlimited mode
Unlimited mode gives you random Strands puzzles from a curated pool. No daily limit, no waiting until tomorrow. Each puzzle has its own theme, themed words, and spangram - same mechanics as the daily puzzle.
Your unlimited stats are tracked separately from daily mode, so you can practice without affecting your daily streak. Hit "New Puzzle" after finishing one to get another immediately.
How unlimited mode works
When you start unlimited mode, a random puzzle loads from the pool. The rules are the same: find the themed words, find the spangram, earn hints by finding non-themed words. The only difference is you can play another one right after.
The puzzle pool is curated - every puzzle has been checked for solvability and quality. You will not get stuck on a broken grid.

Unlimited mode questions
How many unlimited puzzles are there?
The pool has dozens of curated puzzles and grows over time. You are unlikely to see the same puzzle twice in a short period.
Do unlimited puzzles count toward my streak?
No. Unlimited mode has its own separate stats. Your daily streak is only affected by daily mode puzzles.
Are unlimited puzzles easier or harder than daily?
They are similar in difficulty. The pool includes a mix of themes and grid layouts comparable to the daily puzzles.
Can I skip a puzzle I do not like?
Yes. Press "New Puzzle" at any time to get a different one. Skipped puzzles count as incomplete in your stats.
